I have to agree with Rep. Ulery on this. Regional papers are one of the few places residents have a chance to get their voices heard when it comes to issues in the community and local politics. Cutting their word count in half seems a bit rash. Any really, those that take the time to actually write a formal letter to the paper these days probably have something to say!
